OK, here's the deal. Ive been dating this girl for a little over a year. She is THE ONE for me. We have so much in common, and it works between us. It's almost too easy! Ive proposed to her, and she said she wanted to marry me, that he loves me, but that she cant marry me because i'm unable to provide financial security for her. At first, i was hurt, but then i gave it some thought, and she really is right. I have a good job, making decent money, but when i was young i made a mistake and got a girl pregnant, and i pay 600 a month in child support. That doesnt leave me much to live on. I really want to do the right thing by this girl, and i want to spend the rest of my life with her, without a doubt. Shes not money hungry, but it IS important that we have financial stability, and Im grateful to her for being honest with me. So, does anyone have any ideas, anything at all, to help me make or get more $? I am really desperate...im swallowing my pride here, someone please help me. Thanks.

Get a better career so you can support your child and still have money to build a future with a new wife.

you have 3 choices here.

1) Get a better job to do all of the above(one would think you would have already if you could though).

2) wait until the child turns 18 and you are done with child support--(after all--real love will wait, right).

3) Have the girlfriend get a job to support you and her

wait..another option....

dump the girl....for not wanting to be part of your life... your WHOLE life..

You have the rest of your life ahead of you and if you cannot figure out how to make ends meet or know what you want to do with your life besides get married, then you still have an awful lot of growing up to do!

Sorry man, but keep your pants on and start thinking with the head on your shoulders!

Get a second job. Another 40 hour a week job at minimum wage will clear you $600 a month easily. Shocked? Hey, you were the one who made the baby.

Tell her to get her lazy *** up and get a job. This is 2007, and we live in America, it is okay for women to work too. You can't just expect some guy to marry you when you haven't worked a day in your life. She should atleast get a job and save up some money for a while, because once your gone, she will be in trouble.

Fight for more custody of your kid so you don't have to pay the $600. Just feed and clothe your kid the on your own half the time.
