For the first one, you just need to combine like terms:
2y - y = y, and -6-4 = -10, so 2y - y - 6 -4 = y - 10.

The next one you first need to expand (multiply all terms in brackets by the term directly outside of the brackets):
4(x - 2) -3(2x - 6)
4(x) + 4(-2) -3(2x) -3(-6)
4x - 8 - 6x + 18
4x - 6x - 8 + 18
-2x + 10

2y - 6 - y -4
= 2y -y - 6 - 4 combine like variables
=y - 10 when two variables have different numbers attached to them, you can add and subtract those numbers. 2- 1 is 1 so you are left with just y.

4(x-2) - 3(2x-6)
=4x - 8 -6x + 18 multiply the stuff inside the brackets by the stuff attached to them outside
=4x - 6x - 8 +18 combine like variables
-2x + 10 add or subtract your variables

2y - 6 - y - 4

First collect like terms.

2y - y - 6 - 4
2y-y = y
-6 - 4 = -10

thus your answer should be as follow:
y - 10
_______________________________________________

4(x-2) -3(2x-6)

First use distributive law where you multiply what's inside the brackets by the number outside the bracket.
4(x-2) = 4x-8
-3(2x-6) = -6x+18 (-)X(-) = (+)

now like the last question collect like terms
4x - 6x -8 + 18
4x - 6x = -2x
-8 + 18 = +10

therefore the answer should be -2x + 10.

I hope I've helped!!! Good Luck!

2y-6-y-4 first, combine like terms
= 2y-y-6-4
=1y-10

4(x-2)-3(2x-6) first, multiply
= 4x-8 - 6x +18 now, combine like terms
= 4x - 6x - 8+18
= -2x+10

2y-6-y-4 = y-10

4(x-2)-3(2x-6)
4x-8 -6x +18
-2x + 10

all u have to do is combine like terms in the first watch
first u combine the y's 2y-y=1y or just y
the the numbers -6-4= -10
the answer is -10+y
on the 2nd problem u use the dis tri butive property then combine like terms
