i dont really think potatoes have acid in them but u can power a clock by using an apple or a orange.
just stick two metal rods and connect them to the clock

Kinda... a potato can conduct electricity... It'd have to have a source of energy other than itself to power it...well, maybe the juices in the potato could. So 1) It conducts and 2) Probably...try it out!

Through a transferrence of energy. dont expect it to keep good time though. Better to bake the potato at 375 deg F
until soft enough and then smother it with butter.
