Ok and I thought there was a philosophy section in here but I couldn't find it so treat this as a philosophical question. No kiddy replies needed on this. Mature folks only.

Sorry to burst your bubble "hoo" but I had my house paid for by the time I was 30 before I even met my hubby. I need not work but I do to keep busy, so thanks for your "intellectual" analysis.

And thanks Magician, I am very familiar with the "bleeps" and agree totally.

Thanks for your honest comments to the rest of you.

Hi there. Philosophy has a section under 'Arts & Humanities'.

If the rich people in question are also compassionate with their wealth then great humanitarian blessings can flow to the needy of our society (and planet).

Based on the Law of Attraction (The Secret, What the Bleep) we need to be aware that we do not focus upon a negative view about possessing wealth per se. Money is simply 'Energy' to be used in gratitude & compassion.

This is a question that would only be asked by someone jealous of those wih money.
Other than the ones that are born rich, money has no favorites. Having money is a combination of things including hard work, timing, making good decisions, being in the right place and at the right time and to a small degree...Luck!

But if philosophy is what you seek, consider this.
Hypothetically speaking:
If it were possible to take all the money in the world and redistribute it equally among all the people so that everyone had the exact same amount.
Within 10 years, the people that are the wealthiest today would have it all back and the people that are the poorest today would have none. Back where they started.
Why?
It's called discipline and understanding.
It's why the rich have money and the poor ask why?

All depends on your perspective. Neither the rich nor the young would think what they have is a waste.
All of us won't be rich but all of us were once young. Not the same set of parameters.
C. :)!!

No...

Unless you call "hoarding it" wasting it...

If they'd let a little of that "trickle-down" economic money "trickle down" like it's suppose to...

Our youths might have been a little less...

"Wasted..."
