Flowers are unaware that the world is coming to an end in 2012.
Flowers are not divided between liberal and conservative.
No flower has a religious explanation of why it blooms.
Those are the three best reasons I can think of.

chaos is merely a human perception and frequently is not perceived by all who witness the same event.
flowers simply allow themselves to BE flowers without external judgments of their surrounds.
snow and ice are not judgmental perceptions which keep the flowers from blooming.
