i live in a basement aparetment so sadly i don't have a fireplace :[ wish i did though, but then again the landlord BLASTS the heat in the winter so even if i did have one it probably wouldn't get much use lol

when i did have one i just used whatever was on top..then when i brought some more that would go on top then i would use that :)
