Let's have some fun with this one. Tell me something unusual you remember seeing at the ballpark. Could be an unusual play in the field, but it could also be something you saw in the stands or anywhere, even at the beer stand. I'm talking about the unusual, bizarre, different, something that was memorable.
One thing I remember happened many years ago, when I was a kid and I went to a Cardinals game in St. Louis with my Dad and brother. A couple rows ahead of us, a big guy was sitting with his two small sons, one on each side of him. Early in the game, he caught a foul ball (bare-handed) and casually handed it to his son on his left. Didn't make a big deal out of it, acted like it was routine. I swear, scout's honor, later in the game, the guy did the same thing and handed the second foul ball to his other son and went back to drinking his beer. Many years later, my Dad would mention that incident.
What do you fans remember?

Phils vs Reds.........Griffey wasn't playing because he was ready to hit his 500th and they wanted him to do it at home so Ryan Freel was playing instead, also Jim Thome hit his 400th that night in the 1st inning ( I missed it getting beer.)
There was about a hour and a half rain delay and during it a guy ran onto the field naked wearing a richard nixon mask. After he was caught a couple ran onto the field jumped over the bullpen fence and the dude got on one knee to ask the chic to marry him. Everyone was screaming "Say no!" Of course she said yes, security got to the fence and nicely said to come to the fence. The moment they got there the security guys grabbed them pretty harshly haha and yanked them over the fence and arrested them. All the while the rain was just coming down security guys while chasing the dude in the Nixon mask were slipping and falling it was hilarious. So when the couple ran out they just sord of cornered them and "talked them into" turning themselves in. It was a great night, the Phils ended up winning and the fans in centerfield really got to Ryan Freel a couple times he turned and tipped his cap to us. Great night.........and it was fun sharing.....

I remember being at candlestick and watching the Giants and Braves. For some reason there was this sea gull that just hung around on the field during the entire game. The bird would go and get in the way of the pitcher and the game had to be stopped a few times. Every time some one from the Braves would try to scare the bird off, everyone would boo the player. Eventually the bird made its way to first base and got in the way of plays. Grounds keepers would chase it and it would fly away only to come back a minute later with everyone applauding it.. The bird left around the 7th inning.

Not including weird stuff shown on TV, just games that I attended,
on August 3, 2005, against the Royals, a Royals batter hit a little looper to left, Manny came running in and then-SS Edgar Rentaria came running out and they banged heads as they converged on the ball. Manny was knocked out of the game but hung onto the ball.
August 24, 2006, with a man on first, a Red Sox batter hit a hard ground ball to Angel second baseman Adam Kennedy who muffed the play, let the ball hit the heel of the glove where it bounced up in the air and was grabbed by Orlando Cabrera who had gone to cover second for the force play, he then gunned the ball to first for the double play. It must have been Doug Mirabelli running but it was still a pretty odd play as it should have been an error on Kennedy.

Two at bats in a row at the White Sox vs. KC game on mothers day, a bat flew into the crowd, right at the same girl in the front row. Ozzie came out of the dugout and gave the woman a batting helmet to wear. That was pretty funny.
Also I was at the 2003 doubleheader on September 26th where Bo Jackson was getting chased around the batters box by a bee. That was a great time....

At a minor league game, a lady was sitting at the edge of the net behind home plate when a ball rolled off the net and hit her. When the stadium people were checking on her she got hit again on the same type of play. After the second time they moved her out of her seat.

Well, in Milwaukee, Rickie Weeks was batting. There was a group of 4, two sections to the right of us. There were 2 kids and 2 adults. Weeks hit a foul ball to one of the kids and he caught it. In the same at-bat, he hit another except at the other kid and he caught it!
