two CO2's are released per 'turn' (decarboxylation)

three NAD+'s used per 'turn' (oxidation), produces NADH

one FAD used per 'turn' (oxidation), produces FADH2

one GTP (ATP) made per 'turn' (substrate level phosphorylation)
