ok I am really confused here, last night i was feeling fine and then all of the sudden i felt really nausieated, but i thought no big deal i mean i am pregnant. but then my heart started to race, and when i checked my blood pressure(we have an at home one) it was pretty high it is usually like 110 over 80 and last night it was 145 over something. and then i started freaking out cause i didnt know what was wrong, but i calmed down and it went away but i feel sick today, like nausieated and i feel really achy, what is this? oh and i got my flu shot too. and i'm 26 almost 27 weeks pregnant.

the department of health in the united states says that people who are at high risk for getting the flu should get a flu shot. that includes young children, older adults and pregnant woman. So i didnt really have a choice.

also i forgot to mention that my doctor gave me this flu shot almost 7 weeks ago, i wouldnt be feeling allergic to it now because i have gotton it before too.

You would not be having any kind of reaction to the flu shot now. If you were to have one it would have happened within 1 hour of getting the shot. You may have a mild strain of the flu. You might have just eaten some bad food. The actual flu (influenza, which is what you were vaccinated for) does not generally cause nausea in adults -- it's a respiratory infection.

Pregnant women *should* get a flu shot, just like you did.
The flu shot does *not* give you the flu -- the virus is inactivated.

the shot are the flu and will make you sick for one and blood pressure will climb because you are going through being pregnant and best to check with Doctor because i do not think you should of taken the flu shot you can be allergic to them i am by being allergic to feathers.

I would'nt get yourself stressed out as it will make you feel worse, but if i were you i would make an appointment tomorrow with your doctor just to make sure and stop you from worrying, i hope you feel better soon!

why did you get a flu shot while pregnant that can be dangerous to do that. and any ways those shots have Mercury in them. you are having affects from that shot. you should see your doctor if it gets worse but it should clear up.
