Happy, after years of depression.
I found out that only I can "make" myself happy. All it took was to take responsibility for my own emotions, actions, thoughts, etc.

I see myself as happy, we all get unhappy at times, but you have to make the most of what you have got. I love my family and friends and as long as i have these I will be happy!!

I am happy and have always been happy. It's the world that's a miserable place! LOL
But not all of it, so throw out the garbage and keep only the treasures. Life is to short to deal with nonsense.

I am one very happy being, endowed with the everlasting & perpetual joy of simply being alive, waking up to the face of a new day despite its hardships, pain and sorrows. No matter how low I get I always manage to SMILE!!!!
THAT IS HOW I SEE MYSELF

I am neither one nor the other. I decided many years ago that I would never be happy or sad, that I would content myself with being content, and that is exactly how I am today.

Hi Skycat,
Upon learning the disciplines of the teachings of " Indifference " one might say that they have the same feelings for:
Warmth as to cold, Wealth as to Poverty, Full tummy as to hunger, Love as to hate, and Happiness as to sorrow, and the list goes on and on, but the bottom line is when you can achieve indifference, you will be free from the bonds of life here on earth and how those bonds tend to bind us forever into the sensory distractions that will forever lock us into creature comforts and deny us any possible chance of attaining enlightenment and advancement in the spiritual realm.
Know this to be true that all you see and do is nothing more than a grand illusion and you are much like unto a student fighter pilot sitting at the controls of a virtual flight simulator that will forever distract you from the real world of reality that surrounds you as it is, not as it appears to be.
Do not hear with your ears as they can mislead you, and do not see with your eyes as they will deceive you, instead learn to see and hear with your inner feelings and you will never go wrong.
So to answer your question, I see myself as being enlightened as happiness or unhappiness are nothing more that states of mind, based on numerous outside parameters and equations and what your perception of them might or might not be.
Outstanding question,
Darryl S.
