I saw Beowulf, and the 3D aspect of it was incredible. The story was alright. If I were a middle school-aged boy, I'd probably like it a lot more.
I've heard Fred Clause was AWFUL. I haven't seen a single good review for it.
I heard Dan In Real Life was pretty good, but I haven't seen it. Same thing for American Gangster.
As someone else pointed out, you should see Enchanted. I haven't seen it, but I've heard nothing but great things about it. Apparently it's one of those fun and wholesome movies that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy inside. Plus McDreamy is in it. :)

Go see American Gangster...Out of your list that is the best one, the acting is great, the story is ok and it is based on a true story, meaning there are some elements of truth...remember it is a re-telling of the story, there are a lot of things that were made extraodinized but it was an overall good movie!!!

When you get a chance go to Blockbuster and rent a foreign
film "Babette's Feast". A little slow on the git go, but in the
end you will be very well satisfied.
