or does it look like what you wished you looked like?

It is close to what I looked like when young. It was a challenge to even get this one because I don't see any avatars even close to my age from which to choose. I guess whoever designs them thinks life ends at 20. (I added some green earrings yesterday.)

Yes, it looked like me when I was young and yes, I wish I still looked like that.

I have a rather long poem, I would like to share with you, called My Mirror and I.

My Mirror and I

I looked in the mirror to see myself
But I was no longer there.
Instead I saw an old woman
Who had wrinkles and snow-white hair.

I thought to myself: How strange indeed.
Just who could this old woman be?
She resembles our family, I must confess.
But surely it can’t be me.

Only yesterday my eyes were bright
A wrinkle you could not see.
But I looked at this woman with wrinkled skin.
Now what has she done with me?

If I move my head, she moves hers.
When I smile, She grins with glee.
From the way she looks, I think she knows
Of the thought that bothers me.

Just keep grinning, you old woman.
I’ll turn from your image away.
With head held high, I’ll say to myself,
It’s good to feel young today.

Mirrors are a shallow lot.
They never look down inside.
But it’s down underneath the surface
That the spirit of youth abides.

Sometimes a mirror will flatter you,
Sometimes it will cause you to flee.
But since I know so much more than it,
My mirror can never fool me.

I like this one too.

"Be your own best friend and don’t forget to wink at yourself now and then."
Diane von Furstenburg

Thanks for the question.

It makes me look like a teenager. I keep changing it but can't seem to get close to me and I don't know how to put up an actual picture as an avatar.

Not this one, but just wait till after the Christmas Holidays and see my new one. Have been playing with Graphic programmes and now my Cartoon Avatar really does look like me.

My avatar looks more like my husband.
I think men's opinions are generally looked at as being brighter and better. I was 5 years old when I stopped being equal to males.
This is one instance in life I am on an equal basis with men and I rather like it.

Everyone says my avatar looks like me. Only she is younger
than I am. I looked like her about 20 years ago.

Hi, Yes I think it is cool .At the time there were not to many good things to choose from in the avatar section .So I choose the best they had at the time and it has grown on me.I hate to choose something else I probably will not like.So that is me,like it or not.

It looks more like me when I was younger...not to mention I wear my hair pulled back rather than how it is in the avatar ... though that's how I wear it when I have enough energy to wear it out. lol

Ask Wally - he knows what I look like :-)

No, I looked like Renae Zellwigger when I was young except I did not have blonde hair and did not act so hyper.
