1. ratio for drawing a green is 5 out of 15
you want a value out of 120 so convert
5/15 = x/120
15x = 5(120)
15x = 600
x = 40
so out of 120 it is probable that 40 are green.
2. same logic for the blue, except that your ratio is 0 out of 15
that means all you multiplying and dividing will still leave you with just zero.
it is probably that there are 0 blue marbles

1. 1/3 of those you chose are green -- so 40
2. Zero percent of those you chose are blue -- so zero percent.
A more intersting question is "How confident are you that these answers are close to being correct?" You have pretty wide confidence bands around these numbers.

7x + 3x + 5x = 120
15x= 120
x = 120/15
x=8
green = 5 X 8 or 40
Blue = no blues were drawn out of the bag... so the answer is 0 I guess??
