What is/are the song(s) by your favorite band that you feel is/are absolutely amazing but no one seems to appreciate it/them because it/them was overshadowed by the hits?

Mine are Pink Floyd's Mudmen, Cymbaline, The Embryo, Grantchester Meadows and Good Bye Blue Sky.

Yours?

Led Zeppelin's "Custard Pie" and "The Rover", both from Physical Graffiti. I don't see anyone talking about them. Led Zeppelin didn't really have any hits though, and neither did Pink Floyd....

The Beatles's "You Never Give Me Your Money". The Beatles fans may know this one, especially since this was part of the Abbey Road melody. It starts off as an okay song, but as it progresses, it becomes a fierce bluesy guitar piece. George Harrison needs more acclaim for that guitar work he did there.

Queen's "Death On Two Legs". Okay, I'm not a big fan of Queen's, but I love this song as well as their album A Night At The Opera. And looking at all their fans, this song is quite underrated. The composition is a little sloppy, but it shows some great vocal and guitar work.

Well my favorite band is Linkin Park.
I think The Little Things Give you Away is a very powerful song.
It's about Hurricane Katrina and how no one in America really seems to care when so much has happened.
"...Hope Decays
generations disappear
washed away
as a nation simply stares
don't wanna reach for me do you
I mean nothing to you
the little things give you away
and now there will be no mistaken
the levees are breaking..."

I really think it is the most powerful message they have delivered in a song.
But, most people like Numb,Shadow of the day,In the End, Numb Encore, Bleed it Out, Breaking the Habit, One Step Closer, Crawling, and Somewhere I belong.
Don't get me wrong I LOVE these songs its just that The Little Things give you Away is a really great song that everyone should be able to listen to.

Radiohead - I wouldn't say that very many of their songs are underrated, but if I had to pick, I'd go with "Lurgee".

Arcade Fire - their most underrated track is almost definitley "Headlights Look Like Diamonds". It's on what is referred to as either "The Arcade Fire EP" or the "Us Kids Know EP", and it's easily one of thier best tracks, though usually overlooked.

Edit:
Yes, those two are also really amazing, and probably not given anywhere near the attention they deserve.

Chronon:
You should definitley get the EP, if only for "Headlights...", although there's also an early version of "No Cars Go", which in spite of popular opinion, I think is actually slightly better than the Neon Bible version.

Mine's an artist, rather than a band - Jeff Buckley. Everything he has done is pretty much overshadowed by Hallelujah. Its a beautiful and amazing song.......but its not the only one.

The thing is, Arcade Fire picks the right songs to be their singles... all the best Arcade Fire songs are singles...

I would say Black Wave / Bad Vibrations, Haiti, and The Well and the Lighthouse.

(Oh, and thanks, Rukyrm, Headlights Look Like Diamonds is also great. I don't own the EP, but I heard it live and it was amazing).

Rukrym: No Cars Go is my favorite song on Neon Bible. I think they should re-release Headlights like they did No Cars Go. But the production on the EP is pretty bad... and of the song's I've heard from it the only good ones are No Cars Go (which I already have and love the Neon Bible version) and Headlights Look Like Diamonds. But I'll check it out.
