I've heard of this new 'thing' of deep frying candy of all kinds ... and I'm sorry, but I would prefer a return of some of the 'old fashioned' candy I can no longer find, like 'maple sugar candy' and 'licorice buttons' ... I LONG FOR THEM but they are nowhere to be found. Christmas is coming, and without those wonderful 'tastes of the season' I'll feel like 'an orphan' ... but I will NEVER try the 'deep fried candy' ... I've already had two heart attacks, and 'deep fried' food is NOT something I can 'indulge in' ...
