Windows live messenger vs. Yahoo Messenger

Miho - I have run out of emails for today, sorry.
I way prefer Yahoo to any other service. reliable and not many adverts.

in the beginning i used to use only yahoo messenger. and i hate hotmail. so i didn't have a hotmail account.
Bu then with windows live messenger we started to have
more opportunties. And we could use all the mail accounts.
Yahoo stayed a little bit behind all of this.
Now they look like equal.
I have both at the moment.

My guess is the Europeans tend to have their head stuck so far up their butt they can not see daylight enough to make an informed choice. Joke. Really, who knows? It is also the same in South America, they prefer MSN over Yahoo most of the time. I guess it is marketing, whoever got in first, then the people mainly use that service.

From what a "friend" has told me, they like the interface better plus there are many more options than YM. I have MSN myself but I rarely use it now. I wonder why? Hmmm.... Besides, MSN has a bigger share in the European market than Yahoo.

I must buck the trend then, cos I MUCH prefer Yahoo messenger
you can still use yahoo to talk to people who use MSN, I have a few contacts like that and it works fine...
