Going to the Grand Canyon in January. Hot Air Balloon Rides? Where do I book for best deal?

Is it better to book here with Virgin before leaving, or to do a deal when there. Our first American holiday and really looking forward to it. Doing a fly drive from LA to San Francisco taking in the Canyon on the way. Any other tips would be greatfully received.

Anything is possible, but I have not heard of a company the regularly does "hot air ballon" rides over the Grand Canyon.
