The whining crybabies who want a playoff would have to kill all of the people with brains in their head that are keeping the BCS intact because they know a playoff system would completely ruin regular season college football and be no better at picking a champion.

A playoff, everyone wants a playoff. But don't we have one in basketball and we still hear about team number 65 not getting in? (I know theres an at large game, stay with me here) If we have a 4 team playoff there would be the 5th and 6th crying. If we go to a 8 team playoff, then 9 and 10 complain. And the exciting football we saw the past weekend? We wouldn't see it because the playoffs would be set and they would be resting starters like the NFL. And if your team doesn't make the playoffs? Then what do they do? A playoffs a joke, it always will be. At most do a plus one game. Number 1 plays 4 and number 2 plays 3. Then have the winners play the next week in the championship. you could put the entire top 25 in the "playoff's" and number 26 would cry saying why not us? It happens in basketball.

The false hood above is that the NCAA has anything to do with the BCS.
The NCAA never has given a Div 1A championship, the polls always awarded the "mythical title" and the BCS stepped in and set up a system that took its place.

They have a 2 team "playoff" now....
Maybe they will make it 4 and eventually 8.
But the NCAA won't have anything to do with it.
Except maybe to not allow its members to participate if it adds to many games.

So long as the concept puts big bucks into the NCAA coffers, there is no chance in Hell that BCS will be eliminated.Being from the old school, I still prefer preset venues like Big Ten/ Pacific Conferences=Rose Bowl, etc
