You either or one or the other. My sister IS lesbian, full stop, not both. Its a scientific gene thing, and many gays who overdo it with their made up voices and poses (none of which are feminine anyway) are really straight, but are woosses when it comes to finding a female. True gays and lesbians are often not even noticeable, some a bit, but those who get on the bisexual bandwagon and flash their **** and *** at gay pride events are nothing but a bunch of sad perverted losers

I for one, would not claim to be bi-sexual if I were not, which as a matter of fact, I am not. I do know some who are, and long ago in the distant past of the 1960's I had a two week relationship with two bisexual ladies, who enjoyed each other as much as I did. It was like a fantasy come true, but since then I have never wanted to do that again. Those girls nearly killed me. If I had not gotten on the plane which took me eventually into battle in Vietnam, I might not have survived that ordeal, but I would have died with a smile. I know both men and women who are bi-sexual, but most prefer the opposite sex to their own most of the time.

I've been thinking of this too.
I watched the Tyra Show on it. :) It opend my eyes. Many girls and guys are calling themselves "Bi" now. I honestly believe that it is a "thing-of-the-moment." Yes, I do support gays and lesbians. But I think that people who label themselves "bi" are asking for attention. They are Bi because other people are doing it.
But if you are just exploring, you are not bi. You're just determining your sexuality. I also think that people can, maybe be bi if they do not go out and tell everyone/label themselves as bi. I believe that the ones that are quiet about it are deteriming their sexuality.
I think this is just going to be a flare. Like the 70's was. Or the Phat Farm shoes I "had" to have.
:)

That is a good question. Have you seen the tyra banks show with the episode about bisexuals? It was all about if they think it's a trend or if its real. I think it is for real, and more and more people are seeming to be bi, since now that it is the year 2007, diversity is a huge thing now, and people are becoming more comfortable with themselves.

To be bisexual means to have the same feelings for both genders that homosexuals have for their same genders and that heterosexuals have for their opposite genders. And, yes, it is very real.
Is claiming to be bisexual some sort of trend? It appears that this might be the case. But I don't know. I'm sure that some people do claim to be bisexual for attention, just as some people claim to be homosexual for attention and just as some people claim to be heterosexual to AVOID attention. However, this doesn't change the fact that all three (bisexuality, homosexuality, and heterosexuality) are indeed real.

My opinion is that being "Bi" is trendy right now. Women also know that the majority of men are turned on by the thought of chicks getting it on. If they claim to be or appear to be "bi" then it may attract more attention. Of course this is just my opinion. But if you want to test my theory go to the mall and walk around with a female friend for a while. Then hold hands and walk around, notice any difference in the looks you get from men? I bet you do!

I haven't heard anyone call themselves Bi but if they do, I would assume either 1. they really are Bi or 2. it's just one of those passing fads kind of things. Just like every season has different clothes that are "in", this is just probably one of them that's lasting a bit longer than others.

Bisexuality is more of a sexual feeling than a romantic feeling (learned this in a gay/straight alliance training), and while there are people out there who do geninuely feel a sexual attraction to both genders as close to equal as possible, you will have those fake attention seeking girls who'll do anything for a "hot" guy.
And I do mean anything.
Dumb girls.

There are alot of girls who do it for attention but there are also girls that are really bi.
I am a married bi and have relations with my husband but and also allowed to date women and sleep with women also.
I have dated alot of girls you are bi for the attention. They are easy to spot because they have a habit of only being "bi" in public. Behind close doors they don't want to do anything not even kissing.
