THERES SOMEONE THERE.
Mum calls Gran.
Gran walks to window.
The Someone walks away in absolute shock.
Gran is wearing bloomers and a Beatles T-shirt with star-sunglasses. She has just been to the sunbed.
Scary stuff.
Turns out the Someone is the window cleaner.
From then on, every other person's window is sparkiling clean except yours because of Gran. The Someone is scared of Gran.
So am I

In the first instance I would think a bird had flown into it.
If it wasn't a bird - perhaps the window cleaner.
If not the window cleaner - my boyfriend outside on the balcony.
No balcony: I'm out of here!!!!

That seems pretty far-fetched and frightening as well.
You should probably make sure your doors are locked and have a phone handy in case someone is trying to break in.
Or, you should simply leave your apartment IMMEDIATELY.
