What is it called? what kind of job would it be to find life in space?

astrobiologist is believe is the term. finding life in space would be a very difficult job. you would have to analyze data from rovers and decide if a planet could support life. look at the characteristics of pretty much every planet, moon, or asteroid that could have life on it, and then find a way to see if it really does.

astronomer, this normally is a pretty low paying job and to be in it requires a LOT of education Phd in astronomy so you can sit in a radio telescope or some such searching for the needle in the haystack
