Yes it is.
Knowing you know nothing helps us stay humble, interested in the wonders of life, willing to get educated and compassionate. Otherwise, we are arrogant and really stupid.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom but not the end. Realizing that you know nothing and He knows everything is just the beginning. Going on from there - experiencing life and applying truth in those situations - that's getting more in depth into what wisdom is. It's not book knowledge. It's knowing that you know nothing and trusting God that He knows everything and then living life and learning to apply His wisdom in every situation.

No, that is an oversimplification.
Knowing that your insights are limited is a form of wisdom. Understading that the concept of truth does not exist is a form of wisdom. Know that you have a place in the world and that your insights may better it is another form of wisdom.

Well, the first step of learning is to realize that you don't know (or know very little of) a particular subject. To realize your lack of knowledge is the starting point for true wisdom in any discipline.
What you've stated is a very broad statement, but in a sense it is true.

No.
Realizing you know nothing is the BEGINNING of wisdom.
Thinking you know anything is an obstacle to learning.
Also, the use of the validation 'true,' in Asian philosophy is often to derail your conception of what you think you know, so the point of a specific lesson can be driven home.
This is in many ways similar to the 'true Scotsman fallacy' of argumentative method.

I probably wouldn't go that far.
I would think that wisdom is the realization that you have so much more to learn................that you know little in comparison with what you have yet to learn.

It's true wisdom because you will strive to learn that which you don't know.

If you know nothing, how do you know what wisdom is?
It's like the chicken and the egg!

It is the begining and a really good one if you then decide to learn the things you really need to know.

I think it's a step in the right direction, but you don't just have to realise, you have to believe.
