it was dysfunctional but i enjoyed it and it has shaped the adult that i am,lots of problems were overcome when i was young i think it made me stronger,so some bad times but overall it was good!

Yes I did. I probably didn't like the perceived little injustices, like being told off and smacked at the time. In retrospect, I had a great childhood. Very little in material terms but freedom to wander, long sunny days at the lido with jam sandwiches and a bottle of water and acceptance. I didn't want for much because none of us had much.

I was brought up during the great depression. Nobody else had anything, so we never knew we were so poor. As children, we played with what we had, bottle caps for game pieces, chalk for mapping out games, a rubber ball was a real treat,cause then we could play stickball, with an old broomstick. Yeah, I was happy.

Yes, It was what a childhood should be lived like
Climbing trees, making mud pies, terrorizing the neighborhood, having to have a bath three times in one day, etc, etc .. :)

yes i did. i was the only girl in the family and for Turkish families being the only girl, they treat you like you are the only girl on earth lol. I was the princess of the family. I made all the boys of the family work for me lol lol lol
