That all depends...
Im not sure about Espen. Aspen maybe..but Espen sounds made up. Aspen is a tree as well as a vactaion destination.
Brooklynn...Im not really big on that either...NOt because it's not a good name..but it makes me think of that trashy girl on MTV, New York...

Girl name Brooklyn Anne is adorable....the boy middle name Jeremiah is great. Boy first name Espen, not so good.
EDIT:
Maybe you could go with Brook since a lot of people seem to not like Brooklyn since it's the name of a city. You would probably have to change the middle name then though. I thought Aspen seemed a little more acceptable than Espen from looking at the other's suggestions. Just think of if your child will like their name or not, that's the most important. You want to avoid picking out something they will get picked on for especially bad.

I LOVE Espen! So cute! Espen Jeremiah is adorable! Brooklyn Ann seems a little too plain to go with Esepn jeremiah! I think Denae Brokklyn would sound so cute with Espen Jeremiah!

Espen is just fine, assuming it actually IS in line with your heritage (Danish/Norwegian). If it's just another "let's name the kid after a sports network," and you've thrown an extra letter in to make it more phonetically pronounceable as a name, well then it's boring, cliche, predictable and overdone.
And since it seems safe to assume "Brooklynn" certainly is NOT in honor of the actual place, given the added N, that one is definitely all of those things -- boring, cliche, predictable and overdone. Sorry, I'm just not into the overused, trendy random place names, personally. Especially those that tend to come across as particularly lower-class. There are just so many interesting names out there, I fail to see the point.
If you actually do have ties to Brooklyn, and an actual reason for wanting to use it beyond just "it's trendy and tiresome and I want a name everyone else has already done to death," I wouldn't pair it with Anne. Lovely as it is, it's equally common as a filler middle name (so doubly predictable) and quite repetitive with Brooklyn (the back-to-back -ynn/Anne sounds nearly identical).

I don't like Espen as a name at all...because someone made it up out of the cable channel. Why not name him CNN? As the parent of a Dillen, Kalahan, and Vienna, I'm all for unique names, but not that particular one.
I like Brooklynn, but think that it has become over used in the last 5 years.
When you do have children, good luck!!

What is an "espen"? I don't think it's a real name. I wish people would stop making up arbitrary names that are just nonsense. Nobody can be an Ordinary Joe or a Plain Jane, can they?
