Its not. Dems are about to DOMinate politically. Just look at the last election. Apparently, there is no advertisement for the democratic party quite as effective as a few years of republican rule.

On the plus side, I think the dems can improve things a lot very quickly once we get the whitehouse. It certainly didnt take Clinton long. Bush the first didnt lose the whitehouse after one term because things were going so well. Things were a mess. But once Bill got in there, paid off the Republican deficit, and created sound fiscal policy, it took only about 2 years to turn things around, and the remainder of the decade became the greatest period of economic expansion in the history of America.

I wonder why youre so afraid of socialism. I guess the conservative media tell you to be afaid of it, and you buy it hook, line, and sinker. Psychologists who study happiness find that people in socialist Europe are very happy indeed. Maybe you would be too, if you could only unclench a little.

They want everything to be government controlled because they are under the ridiculous assumption that, for some reason, they are better equipped to tell me how I should live my life rather than let me live my life the way I see fit. They also want everyone, except themselves, to live a mediocre standard of living. Meaning the hardworking, ambitious people who work hard to make a good living are expected to pay more taxes to support those that, in many cases, are less ambitious.

John Kerry was jogging down the street and sees these kittens in a pet store window. He asks the owner, "What kind of kittens are these?"

The owner replied "They're democrats."

The next week Kerry is jogging down the street with Joe Liberman and Kerry sees the kittens and tells Joe, "You gotta' see this!"

Kerry walks up to the store owner and asks, "What kind of kittens are these?"

"Republicans" the store owner replies.

"But last week you said they were democrats! Whats the difference between them then and now?" Kerry proclaims.

"They opened their eyes." The store owner responds.

You are totally wrong on every important point.

It isn't about "Free" health care.

It is about socialized health insurance, which we all pay for through our taxes.

Misrepresenting the Democrats only makes you look foolish and dishonest.

Like major corporations overcharging...Lot of hard work in that.

Paying lower wages....Lot of hard work in that.

You disguise over whelming profits, with individuals hard work...You slap the working man in the face.
