Private: Do you really think so? Is war the best way to get rid of a government leader of another country we disagree with? It will be very expensive for us and damage a lot of property and kill many innocent people even pro USA people, maybe there is a better way???

Private: Yes nuclear Iran, N Korea scary!! I always am a little uncomfortable about taking some other countries leader, like we did with Panama. I just always imagine if we didnt have the BIG Stick another country might come and take out our leader and put him in a foreign jail because THEY dont like him, I would become an american "insurgent" against that foreign power would you?

The leader should be punished not the Iranian people. The CBC (TV channel in Canada) recently did a series of documentaries from Iran, and many of the people on the street didn't like the leader and others were shown to be abused by him and his cronies. The leader should be punished for being the crazy leader not the people.
The UN should be stronger and remove world leaders who lie to their people and abuse them or violate human rights in general. If the UN had such a role, both the Iranian leader would be gone (for human rights abuses) and Bush would be gone to for the violation of human rights during the Iraq war and his manipulation of the facts regarding global warming (he's been known to suppress reports from govt scientists in order to create a global warming debate in the US that does not exist anywhere else).

N O, the clerics and the nut job president should be punished by the people of Iran with the help of the USA. The leaders of the USA have NOT committed any crimes against humanity, but have
brought H*** upon the terrorists who have been killing innocent peoples of this world and also upon the USA on 9/11/01!!!!!!! I will CONCUR with Private on the assessment that was made in good faith!!

The Iranaian leadership should be removed at any cost.
If collateral damage can be avoided then I am sure it will be.As in Iraq, thousands of lives were saved by the extensive use of smart bombs at a cost of millions dollars more than achieving the same ends by the use of "dumb" bombs.Of course the liberals will claim bush murdered innocents to use their blood as oil.
Many younger people in Iran are unhappy with the regime for a variety of reasons. If they cannot rise up and fell the regime then of course they must stand aside whilst the USA does.
Liberating the people of Iraq from tyranny, stemming the tide of fundamentalism spilling from Iran, securing the west from being held to ransom over oil supply ,isnt being a warmonger. We call it being a great, brave leader who will eventually be recognised as one of the greatest visionaries of our time.
edit:richard..
fair comment.
unfortunately ,the iranian leadership are determined to continue with the development of nuclear weapons, they continue to fund terrorist activities worldwide. They are hard-line fundamentalists who are dedicated to jihad and the destruction of Israel and the western democracies. If you think you know a better way to tame this beast then the world is listening.Of course war should be a last resort, but the smart money says ahmadinejad isnt a partner for peace..or resignation.
edit2:
Its all very well looking at it from the veiwpoint of the enemy. But the enemy is the enemy for a reason.ahmadinejad has already stated that he"will wipe Israel off the face of the earth" if he ever aquires nuclear weapons. He supplies suicide bombers and weaponry to Iraq during its democratic infancy! His country would be poised to invade Iraq should the allies withdraw.
To use the americanism" never give a sucker an even break".
We cant compare the intentions and military intervention abroad of the USA to the activities of Iran.We cant afford to consider fairness when so much is at stake. The people of Iran as a whole would relish the opportunity of democracy that will only be arrived at by american military intervention.
You cant make an omlette without breaking eggs.
