Im 16 with a Savings account. I have a "Custodian" onto my savings account because im not 18. I have about 20$ in my paypal balance and i want to get it out. I want to get myself verified so i can get that money out. But ive read some stuff online that you need to do transactions or something? Anyway, What are the steps to becoming verified? Also, does it require taking out any money toward my savings? Because i cant do it at the bank because im not the custodian.

This was my experience...

When I verified my paypal account, paypal actually deposited 2 very small amounts into my checking account. I had to wait for those transactions to show up. Once they did, I went back to paypal to enter those amounts - that's how they verify that you have access to that account.

You can't do anything until you're 18. You are entering into a contract with Paypal by using their service, and minors cannot enter into legally binding contracts. That's why you have a custodian. You will have to ask your custodian to get the money for you.

What you need to do is input your bank info into paypal, then they deposit a small amount into your account, then you take that amount and input it into the area where they want you to get verified. But they need your bank info. Its safe, i use it for my business!
