The issue of Bonds' legal tangles really isn't a business problem -- the Giants inserted a contingency clause in his 2007 contract, and that could work again.
Given Bonds' age and occasionally troublesome knees, DH is now his best destiny. So that eliminates 16 teams immediately. And of the 14 AL teams, some are well-set at DH (Boston certainly).
The sheer baggage Bonds brings is the biggest hurdle to him playing in 2008 -- but a .450+ on-base percentage can convince some general managers to put up with baggage for ONE season. Bonds is still THAT GOOD a hitter -- and his eyesight and strike zone command never came from a syringe -- that he could, for the right team, be the difference between first and second place.
So, in the right circumstances, I think he is still quite signable, leaving his salary as the only big question. No doubt he wants a big, eight-figure number, but he also wants to play, get to 3000 hits and 2000 RBI and 2296 runs (new record, that'd be). And he still wants a championship, which means he'd not be much interested in Kansas City or Tampa Bay. So, sifting through the AL teams that (a) might be interested in Bonds and (b) Bonds might be interested in playing for (contenders, who are willing to pay an agreeable figure), I think the number of teams is pretty small:
A-list: Oakland, Los Angeles.
B-list: Chicago, New York, Seattle.
Well, we'll see.

No team will sign Bonds as a free agent now that he has been indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice by the federal government.
If any club was even considering Bonds it will quickly abandon the idea, knowing his availability would be in question, his presence a crippling distraction and marketing nightmare.
It's over, folks — Bonds' playing career, and maybe any chance for him to reclaim his name.

Barry Bond's career is over. Nobody is going to sign him, because nobody likes him. If someone did sign him, then that team's fans will boo the team and it wouldn't go very well.

Any GM that would touch Bonds at this point should be fired. Bonds is facing a ton of court time and possibly jail time so where does baseball fit in? Bonds is also strictly a DH at this point so that limits him to obviously the AL, and nobody will pay him what he wants (or what he thinks he is worth). Bonds is finally done.

Yeah, I think he's done
He's indicted, so why would anyone want him on the team when he's just going to bring the team down with his demeanor, and there's going to be the law and the paparazzi on his back? He just has too much baggage to put on a new team, or even the Giants. If he does keep playing, he's selfish

You could believe so, proper? But, technological know-how has been operating tough in recent times, and they're at the verge of finding a hat that grows as you grow older. So, there's wish for Barry!

He is going to take his 60 lb head and ram into the bars of his jail cell while thinking about how Sammy Sosa and Mark Mcguire got away with what he (Bonds) didn't

Nobody is going to sign him till they see if he's going to jail or not. If he doesn't then some team will pick him up as a stretch run bat. I'm guessing a California team, non-Dodgers. Thats his best chance not to be booed horribly by the home fans.

I think his carrer is over, at 43 I don't see who would sign him with all this indicment thing going on. If I had had to guess on a team aking a chance on him I would say... the A's.
