There's been a few debates on who the best QB is and considering alot of them are playing very well this year it's really up for debate. Sometimes when QB's throw it looks like a sure pick, but the recievers somehow make the catch(i.e Farve to Driver or was it Lee?One of them.lol, and Brady to Moss vrs. Miami)Manning has also had a lot of records DUE to his recieving core... so my question here is, is it the QB that makes the WR or is the WR that makes the QB?

Moss (when he wants to play) has made more than one QB look like studs. Converesly...Favre made Bill Schroeder a 1,000 yard WR.

It goes both ways. Brady was a good QB before Moss came to town...but his astronomical numbers this season are because of the presence of Moss. Take Moss away...and Brady still has a great season...but not near the numbers he has now.

Bill Schroeder got a big head and signed a nice FA contract with Detroit and the NFL never heard of him again.

QB makes WR better in most cases unless you are, let's say Randy Moss. With the exception of Oakland, Culpepper and Brady just chuck it up there and nobody can cover him because he can't be defended. As you saw in Oakland he needs somebody who can throw the ball in his vicinity once in a while.

Look at Manning who has Harrison. Manning came in and Harrison got GREAT after that. Before that Marvin was good but he wasn't on the Great Radar. Now he is HOF bound.

Even Brady had Troy Brown. I think the QB makes the WR better however a WR can make a QB even better depending on his skills. Moss made Culpepper look great. The same way he makes Brady look great. Brady is very good but without Moss he would only be good.

I think its the WR that makes the QB. Think about it, peyton manning has been a bumbling fool ever since Harrison was out with injury. In seasons past, Brady has put average numbers with a bunch of no-names, but now that he finally has a good set of recievers the guys gonna set a lot of records this year. its the WR that make the QB great.

well it boths ways, you need to be able to throw the ball as a QB and you need to be able to catch the ball as a WR. But im going to give the upper hand to the QB because usually, a team is build a round how effective a QB plays vs. how a WR plays. Mainly because it's all time consuming and more $$ in put in a good QB.

A good QB makes WRs better. Even beyond that though is the OL. If your QB has no time to throw, even the best QBs and WRs are not worth much.

it is both, but great WR can really help a QB more
brady is a great QB but look at what good recievers did for him this year
will probably throw double the TD's and yardage than ever before
because of the recievers

Both are true, because if the quarterback is a crappy passer, like Joey Harrington or Rex Grossman, then the WR would stink because of the quarterbacks problems. But if the WR cannot catch anything, then the quarterback would never get any records, or even any half-decent statistics.

It's a little of both, they help each other, but usually a great Q.B. can get it done even if he only has average W.R.'s. there's no question that Brady wouldn't have as many t.d's if it weren't for Moss, and Moss wouldn't have as many t.d's if it was Campbell throwing to him. Same with Manning/Harrison, Favre/Driver, Romo/Whitten. They all make each other better.

the qb makes his wr's look better...remember brady last year made it to the afc championship and almost won it with reche cldwell, jabar gaffney, troy brown, and chad jackson!....a medicre or slightly-below-average WR looks better with a better QB...end of story....im positive
