well since i have friends and family who use both i have both and they are both good programs in my opinion. yahoo has the cute audibles and i love the winks on msn. and some of my contacts are on both lists so if one of them isn't wanting to log in i can chat with them on the other! go for both.

i got Yahoo! messenger and it is very good.
i don't know about msn, you find difficulty starting msn
i just started my msn and i'am finding it difficult to log in.
For yahoo! messenger you won't go throught that problem, it just put you on start away. Go to yahoo, install it and there you go you have a yahoo ID but msn is very different to yahoo!

Windows Live Messenger 8.5 (formerly MSN messenger) is the best messenger there is. It has the best features and the best design and more people use WLM that any other messenger (except maybe in USA where they use stupid AIM).

i think msn messenger is much better, but mainly because i dont know of a single person who uses yahoo messenger and everybody i speak to uses msn. find out what most of your friends use because you obviously want to be able to speak to them.

MSN... I used to use yahoo but only 2 of my friends used yahoo, and they switched too, so i switched to msn becuz my friends kept bugging me to and many ppl use it. It depends on how many of your friends use yahoo and MSN, so ask them.

msn for sure yahoo does not have as many features as msn
but every one likes different stuff.
