oh yes...and the price of diesel makes me even more irritated. All of us are affected by the cost of both gas and diesel, but those of us that make a living by hauling goods place to place are hardest hit. When it costs a farmer 350 bucks to fill up the tank of his tractor and just a few years ago it only cost him 150 to 200, and he has to do that every day he's out in the field, that cost directly affects the cost of the produce he's making. And when the trucking companies have to charge more for freight, that cost gets passed directly to the consumer, who already has to pay more to drive to the store to get the produce. It's a vicious circle, and it's all thanks to the long drawn out war. Diesel fuel is a lower grade fuel in the refinement process, so there is NO REASON that it should cost more than gasoline, but there it is, 50 cents a gallon higher than gas. I remember before the war started that the price of diesel was around a dollar cheaper per gallon than gas was on average, now it's higher....very frusterating indeed.

No. For years we had to too good with gas prices rising at far, far, far below the rate of inflation. Gas prices are just doing 3 decades worth of catching up right now.
The problem is that during those 3 decades we got fat and lazy and started buying bigger, heavier, more powerful vehicles that suck more gas.
If people really cared about the price of gas they would use less, but so far that hasn't happened which means it is all just so much whining.

Use a lot less? right here in Kalamazoo Mi it changed into 3.ninety six the different day, yet has on condition that dropped decrease go into reverse to the three.80 something determination. yet heavily, in case you opt for to wrestle severe expenditures of any commodity, decrease call for and value will keep on with. contained in relation to gas, stroll, motorcycle, carpool, take the bus, telecommute, decrease your % from 70 to fifty 5 on highways, save tires inflated, and save your air filter out sparkling. and that is basically the direct stuff.
