It's socially accepted now to sport a bald head, and there are lots of military guys and young guys out there that love the shine. So I don't think being bald or not is a question of whether they would win a vote or not. It used to be a situation of color, then a situation of religion, but I don't think bald is a problem. I think if the president looks dignified, speaks well, things intelligently, has a plan and sees the whole picture and cares about his citizens then that's what I'd ask for. Wasn't Ike bald? I know of some with the monk look. Our governor looks bald.

To all you who think that baldness is passed down from a Mother's bald Father: My boys are 36 and 33 and NOT bald. My Dad was bald by the age of 33. My husband's father was 85 when he died with a full head of hair. My husband is 69 and has a full head of hair. I think you need 2 recessive genes...one from Mom and one from Dad to go bald. But there are other reasons for going bald.

I am 30 and my hair is slowly starting to receed but I am no way bald yet however my mum's father was bald at 20.. So it isn't always genetic. Either way baldness is fine. I have a stunning young female friend who only fancies guys with balding hair so either way try not to worry too much. Bald can be sexy as much as a full head of hair.

You can be bold even if your father and other males in your family are bald. Going bald might be a different matter

Yes apparently baldness comes from the mothers side of the family so if you have an uncle from your mums side who's bald then it could be in the genes.

Yes, because the gene for male pattern baldness is carried on the X-chromosome (males have only 1 X), and in the presence of testosterone (the predominant male hormone), baldness will inevitably occur.

Baldness runs on the mother's side of the family. So if your mum's dad is bald, you have a higher chance of becoming bald yourself.

Bald genes are said to be passed down on the mother's side. Not sure of how true this is, but if so, you should pay attention to the hairlines of the men on your mother's side of the family to know what yours will look like.
