Vote a person into the Presidency of the United States of America strictly on the issue of global warming is an uneducated, unamerican, and down right crazy, but, global warming is a real threat to the future of humanity and needs o be dealt with.
It is not up to the president to tackle the issue, it is the american people who must tackle the issue.
Start a petition in your home state banning all non-earth friendly light bulbs, banning plastic shoping bags, planting more trees, promoting the use of solar panels and wind turbines not as the only sources of energy but to be used in existing homes to help reduce the amount of coal produced electricity.

I'm not sure I like his approach to global warming. I think global warming should be handled in the same manner as alternative energy instead of carbon tax/credits. I want someone to push hard for alternative energy which would not only ease the effects on the environment but ease our relations with the Middle East and other countries who will compete for oil.

We also need scientists to come up with drought resistant crops and approach this with the thought in mind that our food supply is also threatended by global warming.

No I wouldnt. I voted for him in 2000 because I did not like Bush then (or now). I do not think Al Gore will run again even though he won the peace prize. Unfortunately, I dont think the enviroment is enough of an issue for most Americans

I would, he's my hero and the world's hero in this day and age.

we are in a global crisis and i think the only way he can effect change in the global climate is when he holds the reigns of the biggest contributor to green house gases - the US.

such a pity that he didn't win the last time.

You have my vote Mr. Al Gore!

Oh yes I would defiantly vote for Al Gore for president but only if Michael Moore was his running mate and Sigmund and Roy where Secretary of State and its just too bad that Houdini is dead because he would have made a great Secretary of defense. Hillary would be a very good White House spokesman, she really knows how to use the smoke and mirrors. If you believe in Al Gore's theory of global warming you know all about smoke and mirrors. I'll bet you would have drank the KOOL AID, right?

Being president encompasses more than one issue. I would not. He had my vote once, but not this time. I is someone elses turn. He would be best as being the representative from the US to get a new global climate accord signed.

I wouldn't vote for him, but I bet if the Supreme Court hadn't stolen the election in 2000 we would not be spending a trillion plus dollars fighting an un-winnable war in Iraq. Gore has found his place and has international respect for his efforts against global warming. Why would he even want to be Prez?

Yes I would vote for him...many more reasons than global warming. Read his latest book, "Assault on Reason" and you'll want to draft the man onto the ticket! He's a genius.

No, he is a parrot. Do some reading. The Earth is not going to be gone in 200 years! It is billions of years old and has seen many ice ages and species losses. The dinosaurs roamed the Earth for far longer than Homo sapiens have been here, and the Earth will be around when mankind is gone. I do believe we need to care for our Mother and clean up our act, but let's not blame everything on 'Global Warming" Please don't vote for professional politicians who want to cash in on mass hysteria.
