True, but, while I'm no fan of Bill Clinton and despise Hillary, the Fed has more to do with the performance of the economy than who is president.

The president CAN influence things, though. The dot-com bubble was already bursting on its own in 2000 and Clinton can't be blamed for that or given credit for its meteoric rise. But he did exacerbate the problem by sending a chilling message to business with his Reno Justice Department attack on Microsoft.

Yes, I like your logic.
Everything good that's happened under George W Bush are either his own doing or the product of 2 administrations ago...while everything bad is Clinton's fault.
Everything good Clinton did is carryover from George HW Bush or Reagan...while everything bad was his fault.
Brilliant, why didn't I think of that?

But as every politician worldwide will tell you, when things are good, it because of them, when things are bad, it was yer man who was in before me fault....
