Feed them if they are hungry but do not give them money. Quite often they do not even buy food and badly needed nutrition but spend it on cheap intoxicants.
If you have the time and inclination direct them to many good charitable organisations where they teach them free trades and make them self reliant.
Beggars in affluent countries for the most parts are just lazy bums.

at traffic signals...whenever cars stop we can see many beggars appear suddenly from nowhere....
i have tried this...you too can try....
i tel them to come along so that i can emply them...i this way they can earn a decent living for themselves..as they are veryoften without any serious disability..and can work...the moment i utter this they disappear...
the truth us that they dont want to work...but want easy money...
the worst mistake will be to give them money...
i also feed them if they say they are hungry...but never give them money...thats the most that i can do...
sometimes they emotionally trap you by saying that ur children will live for long...and all that crap.. never get entrapped....
if we pay them then we are crippling them for life

you as an individual can do a lot for the beggars if you want to...
if thebeggar is disabled and cant do much abt it.. you definitely ought to help them..
if you dont want to help them.. then you can definitely go to some charitable organisation for streets children for eg.. DON BOSCO shelter in wadala mumbai..
help them..

Dont do anything anything.. nobodys forcing u too, and they are not bothering you. so just ingnore them and leave them do whatever they want.
