I am looking for wheat cents and this site has many but I don't know if it is safe. Please tell me if you know where I can get unsearched wheat cents cheap.

I never used them and don't know anyone that personally used that site. But for reliability and variety I would reccomend that you use www.usmint.gov which also have a very good community message board too. Good luck to you.

The mint is not the place to go. A local coin shop is better for you see what you get not a photo. If you want to collect wheat cents then get the book on them and learn all about them. That way you actually know more about that subject than most dealers who have to try and remember too much. Over the years I have found they know prices real well, but that is about it. I have never been to the site and buy very little o line at least now. I did like Yahoo auctions and made friends with some of the seller. I got stung a couple of times but I knew that could happen. I lost very little for I always test a site with a small order and then let it get bigger slowly. Try the site out with a small order and see if their grading is correct and that they ship on time. Use postal money orders for you can get them for federal fraud if the try to take you. One you are established they will take your check and not hold up the coins for the check to clear. Now for the unsearched whet cents bit, maybe they didn't but the person that sold them may have gone through them. The only way I know they have not been gone through is at an auction in a barn, out in the sticks, of an old coffee can of cents. Even then I am not really sure, but close enough. If this was the 1940's I could see the unsearched wheat cent bit, but in 2007 that is hard to take. I can see a dealer selling cents by the pound that he never went through but what about others along the line.
