They will blame it on some unfair practice that makes it hard for the poor, minorities and old people to understand how to vote. Which always cracks me up, I would be offended if I were a member of any of those groups and the Dems pull this. It implies that certain people are less competent because they are members of certain groups. But people buy it, so maybe there is something to it.

Interesting that a Bush re-election campaign member was the head of the Florida elections board - no conflict of interest there, right? If the "Dims" had allowed all of the ballots to be recounted in the entire state of Florida, Al Gore would have won the state... in addition to the 500,000 more votes that he got.

BTW: have you noticed that 70% of the country wants Bush OUT?

Well, the DNC has shown no interest in the FL primary and took my state's delegates just because we changed our primary date. I seriously hope that if the Dems lose the election in 08, and lose FL, they don't complain about the reason why they lost (and they could lose big in FL for this stunt) and have the maturity to accept that they lost the election on their own. Many Floridians are very hurt about this and don't be surprised if the Reps take FL by a larger margin than usual. The only Dem candidates that stand a good chance to win FL could be the lower-tier ones. Thanks!

Paul H completely expresses my sentiments. If votes need to be counted in the interest of having a fair count, so be it. Last I heard, this is a democracy and a fair election matters. Hopefully none of the stuff that happened in 2000 will ever be repeated. In my opinion, Bush stole the election thanks to political buddies in FL and the Supreme Court.

This is actually an interesting question. When you consider the fact that the U.S. really hasn't had any problems with the election until Bush was running twice.
If we go onto the next election with no problem, then it will really prove the conspiritists to be true. Hmmmmm......
