b or g router.I dont know about this wireless stuff.Thanks in Advance for your help.

Most routers now will handle "B" or "G". Check the manual to be sure it can.

Just make sure the router supports the same standards as the card
If the card is B&G (most common) then any B&G router will work

B & G routers are compatible. The difference is that G transfers data much faster.

it does not matter but a g router is better

No it should work okay but it won't be as good as a G type.
