Women, would you date someone that made less money than you?

It seems like I can only impress women fresh out of high school with my salary...

Yes. What is more important than the salary is the work ethic. If he made less than me because he doesn't want to work and scrapes to get by, forget it. If he is a worker, his salary is what it is. In both instances, it's the person that is important. The first guy is a lazy mooch, so he is out of the picture immediately. The second example is worth exploring.

I have, and I'm with someone who is a little more broke than I am and have been with him for 9.5 years, and we're finally getting married. Not all females are all about how much you can buy for them or how often you go out to eat.
I would take a cooking class, though, if I were you.

yes money isnt that important. but i would look at the type of work he was doing that can tell alot about a person ... such as if he just started at mcdonalds after just quitting burger king i dont want him not because of the money but because that tells me he is lazy and a quitter and isnt ever going to try to improve himself

When I date someone, it is because of his personality and character. I do not care how much money he makes if he is an honest and caring person.
Money can't buy love.
