I live in Europe, a friend of mine is going to the US on holiday and has offered to buy me anything (providing i pay him back). I would like to know if buying an Ipod Touch is cheaper out there than here in Europe due to the exchange rate.

Don't forget, you will have to add 30% onto the price for import duty, V.A.T., etc. when bringing it in.

iPod Touch is 299 and 399 for 8 and 16 G respectively.

yes it will be greatly cheaper. the usd is not worth much of anything anymore.
