I'm neither a REP nor a DEM so i'll answer them both.

On the Republican side i'd go with Ron Paul. I don't think he's got a shot at winning but he's the only I see talking TRUE Republican issues like small government (maybe too small), upholding civil liberties and fiscal reponsibility.

On the Democratic side I'd vote for Hillary Clinton. I think in retrospect the Clinton administration was actually pretty good for the country and I'm hopeful her policies would be similar. And if one of the worst things she'll do is bring medical insurance to every American, well that's something i'm willing to live with.

I'm a Libertarian, registed as a democrat... I did that solely to run for an election in a Democrat County! lol It continues to amaze my what poor quality candidates this country produces... but then they ARE politicians...
So far, it looks as though I will vote for Ron Paul... he seems to be the best candidate, though I disagree with him on some KEY issues... He's the only one that seems to realize the Constitution is what is SUPPOSED to be the framework for this county...

Congressman Ron Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation’s capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the “one exception to the Gang of 535” on Capitol Hill.

I'm a REP, and Bill Richardson ain't bad.

Problem is, DEMs don't have much in the way of varying viewpoints from different candidates. You pick one, you can interchange any of them.

I'm a Republican, I would support Lieberman (as long as Gore wasn't part of the deal), my second choice would be Rudy, but he is way more Liberal than Lieberman. (And I don't view Rudy as a Republican, he is a RINO).
