That is the kindest thing I have ever heard. Why don't you ask the local childrens ward or hospices. They could often use people for company but you will have to be police checked for this.....best wishes xxx

That is so nice of you. Ask your church if there is anything you can help out with on Christmas, I am sure they would be more than happy to give you a job to do. You could also go to your local soup kitchen to volunteer.
If you wanted to do something with your friends I thought of 2 things
1. Get together a group of your friends and go to your favorite restaurant.
2. Throw a Christmas party and have a Secret Santa, etc. Have a game where the host or hostess asks everyone questions related to Christmas, like what was the name of Rudolph's girl friend? Then share story's of other Christmases or something else like what you REALLY want for Christmas. For the Secret Santa have a box of Suggestions of what each person wants for Christmas, but put a spending limit on it. Like say someone said they wanted a pair of earrings, they would put it in the Suggestion Box.

Wow that is really nice of you to do that. So many people are busy on Christmas to be able to volunteer. It's so nice of you to do that. I would say call Salvation Army or look in the phone book in your area to find out where the kitchens are.

Your local group of churches will almost certainly be organising a Christmas lunch for old and lonely folk - they would love to have you help out, I'm sure. Phone your nearest Catholic church tomorrow!
