He's almost singlehandedly destroyed the Republican party, which isn't necessarily great for the country but i'm sure Democrats are rejoicing about.
For me personally I can't think of one thing. Wait.....oh, no, sorry, I got nothing.

I don't even know about 'keeping us safe'. Let's be real. Granted, since the Bush Junta took over, except for 9/11, we haven't been attacked here in the states, but we haven't had any indian uprisings either, no monster asteroids have damaged a major city, the dead haven't come to life and hell hasn't froze over. If the mantra of 'we haven't been attacked' is valid then let's all give credit where credit is due. Of course if you're willing to take credit for what you did right, then the flip side is that you have to take responsibility for what you screwed up. The Bush League has consistantly refused to get in front of all the really terrible politics and policies that have stuck it deep into the shorts of the American wage-earner. They got us into a war with no natural stopping place. They have refused to enforce the environmental laws passed by a succession of administrations. They have refused to to give up their insane anti-abortion stand. They've trashed the spirit if not the letter of the Constitution. They have refused to deal with their fiscal irresponsibility....the list goes on. Basically the only constituency that the Bush Junta has defended is the trans-national corporations, the Oil Mafia and the Jesus freak right. The rest of us are treated as sheep to be sheared. Hopefully we the people can get rid of these near-nazis before they can complete their coup 'd etat and their Contract On America. These reactionary thugs have done enough damage. Another four year or eight years and it's goodbye America. No kiddin'!

Bush has not kept us safe. He is responsible as the nation's leader for 9/11. I think you have to look at the overall picture. Since 9/11 there has been no attacks from outside sources. There has been plenty of violence inside the country with US citizens shooting each other in malls, in the home, in schools. What good is being secure have to compare with over 50 million people without health insurance and more people below the poverty line?

For me-nothing. For the country:
A war on a country that did not invade us or threaten us.
No child left behind which is Federal control of education
Aftermath of Katrina-still a huge mess
Loaded Supreme Court with right wingers
Federal funding of religious charities
Cut FDA funding and we now have tainted food and products entering the country-big recalls on toys and food products.

The list goes on and on, if you are a "Bushie" all of the above are good, if you are not a "Bushie" the above list is a small part of the disaster he has brought upon this country.

Nothing really since I'm not in a higher income bracket. 911 has been the defining issue of his presidency. Many things have been left unattended to. He doesn't seem to be a multi-tasker. I have to admit he has had to deal with things that have never happened before to this country. With that said, I am sick of worrying about what he'll do next. I'll be glad when his presidency is history.

Keeping you safe?
Did he keep Americans "safe" on 9/11?

Bush has to be the worst president of all time.

Well, how about a good economy, tax cuts, (even my poor self got a couple hundred extra back), actually struck back at muslim terrorists, decent appointees to the supreme court, expanded the tools of law enforcement, refuses to let congress waste money on needless pork programs, and most of all, he makes liberals insane and kept Kerry out of the oval office. And let's not forget the sci-fi writer Gore. Kept him down to the level of an annoyance, rather than a zealot w real power. That enough examples?
