We wouldn't have to consider that question if about three or four users (depending on whether or not you think two of them are actually one!) didn't post ridiculous impertinent questions every two minutes.

Perhaps 'The McCanns and EVERYBODY ELSE'S MISSING CHILDREN'
Yes, Madeleine is missing and it's a terrible thing, but also within , say , 2 months of that ,just to my knowledge, so did a little boy in Gran Canaria and another little girl just 2 miles from Praia de luz. In that case, the same policeman in charge of the MMC case arrested, beat up and had the mother charged with murder even though there is no body. It's no wonder he's been sacked.
If Kate had been Portuguese , she would be in nick, too.
I think the reason people have for not moving on, is ,they need closure.

I agree Elric and I am sick of opening the paper every single day with them in it or some reference to them. Whilst I sympathise they have lost a child (and they are partly to blame) their's is not the only child to go missing and 6 months is long enough to have a daily update. I don't mean to be hard or harsh, just realistic. It must break the hearts of all those other parents who have lost children but don't have the publicity the McCanns do.

I think it should. I mean the people who ask these questions are just raking over old coals and thinking with conjecture. It's wrong because the parents are guilty of child neglect. but Maddie IS still missing, and instead of focusing on the parents everyone should be thinking of the missing child. Talk about wrong priorities.

Its not even the fact that there are so many questions about them, its the content that is ridiculous. Its like a few ten year olds have taken to see who can ask the most stupid question.

It's true. If the justice system doesn't care, that's that.
