To be honest I really don't think your chances are that great, but if you don't mind paying the 80$ application fee it is worth a shot. They DO accept people.

If you want a number (like 50% chance, etc.) go to mychances.net and enter your information. The numbers aren't 100% accurate (but the more people who join will make the numbers more accurate...if that makes sense), and it's free,so there are ads. It's a great way to kind of predict where you can be accepted.

I think you need a backup plan.

You might be able to get in. You are probably qualified to get in. But the fact is that most qualified students do not get in.

If your GPA is unweighted, then you are about average for the students who get into top universities in the US. If it is a weighted GPA -- then you are quite a bit lower than the average, and I don't like your chances.

Your SAT scores are about 150-200 points lower than the typical successful candidate at top schools.

Harvard only accepts 8% of those who apply. My guess is that about 75% of those who apply have better grades and scores than you have. I assume that you can do the math.

This will be true for any top 10 university in the US. In order to get in, you have to REALLY stand out. Your activities won't do that for you (unless you are a world class athlete). In order to stand out, you need a great interview and a killer admissions essay. With those, you have a small chance. Without them -- you have absolutely no chance at the top ten.

The good news is that you will certainly get into some excellent unviversities. I would look at some of the better public universities, some universities rankes 20-40 (rather than 1-2), some of the better Liberal Arts colleges and some of the better regional universities. Definitely apply to a couple schools at the top.

honestly, that SAT is pretty low for Harvard... so I would say it is a medium reach for you. What def. helps is the A- in the summer course, I would somehow mention that in an essay. International makes it harder too, and your GPA isn't bad, but it isn't spectacular. I would say you have a 30% chance. If you get those SAT's to a 2150+, I would say 60%.
