I never care about the avatars use by yappers. What I care about was the attitude of the yapper.

in a way, a YAPper's avatar provides me with a glimpse of what a YAPper may be like (i.e. some are so true and real that they have their pictures for their avatar while some are attention-grabbing like the sexy kerengkeng's). an avatar also provides me with an insight on a YAPper's likes (marcelino obviously adores his pet dog) or how that particular YAPper wants to be perceived by others (like aref's green grouch). i try to veer away though from "psycho-analyzing" a YAPper through his / her avatar as someone's choice of avatar can be misleading so i prefer to gauge a YAPper's persona through their Qs & As.
rodelette's eye avatar strikes me the most. why? because she may not be sharing much of herself but her eye belies what her mind holds. and yeah, her eye should tell us that she's watching so beware. :)

The Avatar is very misleading and doesn't really say anything about the Yapper.
If I may use Aref H4 as an example What you see is a little green grouch. Now if you read his posts you will see that he is a well versed and intelligent man and not the grouch his Avatar depicts.

Avatars are not real; they don't even depict the true image of the person behind them, therefore, avatars don't mean much to me. Anyway, avatars all look the same.

i look at an avatar as a reflection of the personality of the user honey. the perception may hold true or may be the exact opposite. no other yapper's avatar strikes me most than that of mi amore aref h4.

It's kind of giving me a little bit of an insight of how an answerer may actually look like in real life, that would be all.. we can't really determine their characteristics and aptitude till we read their answers ..When we choose an avatar, we kind of pick something that kind of look like us.. Well, just speaking for myself, anyway..
Most striking i have seen in the Phil. section was that of the young Marcelino's.. I like the dog.. It shows he is an animal lover...And Aref, it reminds me of an Oscar, for all this world only I know..
Don't we see each other at PHilo category?. I have read some of your answers, and i was right, you are well-versed , and very well-learned, just as i thought when i saw your avatar with glasses..

i actually don't care about avatars. what i care most is the answers and attitudes of the yappers.. ;-) and i'm starting to know them one by one.. ;-)

In this page, of course, the most striking is that of The Lady Karengkeng
And you can see that I, down here, am afforded a most spectacular view of her. A really advantageous position, this, as though I am down the stairs and here she comes, affording me a wondrous, luscious view.
