Actually i just use the bulbs in the regular hood
but you can get bulbs for the same hood, which help for plant growth
Also a fertilizer once every 2 weeks in the recommended amount helps your plants grow and be healthy

hope that helps
good luck

Most any type of florescent light will be fine, but Daylight (which mimic natural sunlight) are generally the best.

Also 10gal is much to small for an angel fish they need at least 29gal.

I have a specialized light that can be found at almost any pet store! It is specifically designed to replace your existing light, and illuminate in the light spectrum's best for plant life!

It's real easy to find, just ask an associate.
