I am very, very fair skinned - almost actually white, looking for a good product that I can use all over body that will be subtle and not make me orange or streaky.

Your skin sounds a lot like mine-very, very fair.If you want a quality fake tan, one that doesn't turn your skin orange-that's St Tropez-you can go for the lotion, which will give you a deeper tan, or the mousse, slightly lighter tan.Believe me, I've tried L'oreal, Garnier, Lancome-a pricey one!-but my skin looked like a boiled carrot. But St Tropez is great, it gives you a tanned look and doesn't live streaks if you follow the directions when applying it.I can confidently say that when you start using it you'll be as happy as I am!
Good Luck!

"fake baking" causes cancer just like the sun does. I suggest a very light to medium fake tan. The moisturizers that slowly build up a tan are pretty good.

Sally Hanson is brilliant for your legs, I couldnt recomment it anymore i love the stuff.
I would also recomment Top Image, easy to apply and gives a really nice natural look.

Try one of those body lotions with a touch of self tan - it builds up over a few days so you can monitor your colour.

St. Tropez is fantastic i think, really easy to apply using a mitt. Just follow the instructions, you dont have to use their polisher or moisturiser though

I think if you have red hair you should leave your skin as it is. I think people with very fair skin look quite nice and high fashion when they have very pale skin!
