Well I've used the phrase a bit myself. Infact I would say about myself I can be hard to handle! I understand that it means don't B. S. me or You'll be sorry if you cross me. It might also mean I can get mad easy.. (that's what seems to fit for some USA people that talk on yahoo!) USA people come up with weird words like spew and disses.. can't find those in my dictionary! What does spew mean? What does disses mean? are they real words?

She has forewarned you...now do what any red-blooded American would do. Take the challenge. Jump into a relationship with her and find out that she was absolutely acutely honest five miserable months ago when she warned you (It'll take you that long from today to break free). She is actually a commitment-phobe and acts and reacts as such (defense mechanisms). She's hard to handle because she has had so much to handle with so little support...

Are you ready to be "next" on her list?

No it just means if you are going to try and handle her it may be a little bit of a challenge, but if it's something you want go for it I love a challenge...
My cousin usually associates the saying
"In for the chase/challenge but not the catch"
I just kinda get scared when it gets serious lol
I'm totally a guy when it comes to feelings
"I'm NEVER GETTING MARRIED"
I'll have to be dragged down the aisle kcking and screaming LMAO

It's a good strategy/get out clause for when you find out she's flirting behind your back. If the tears don't work she'll just boot you out anyway. Forget it do as Kev suggests and save yourself a wasted Christmas.

It only means that you have to be patient with her because she will continue doing what she wants to do. She does not want restrictions from a boyfriend and whatever she does, you will just have to love her.

I'd never say that. It sounds like something that one would say about a dog or something.

Maybe she's trying to sound mysterious and/or feisty...

It means that she is hard to please and you have to work real hard to keep her in your life. She is very demanding. She has decided to warn you first about what you are going to be dealing with. Good luck.
