Yahoo could take 10 points away from the person who gave the answer. Who else would like to see this happen?

I would be receptive to the idea of selecting a worst answer, but I would not take away ten points for it. One to five, maybe.

If somebody online doesn't like another person it wouldn't take much to watch that person's answers and select 'em all as worst answers.

Maybe the person who asks the question should have the option of selecting a worst answer for minus ten points. It shouldn't come from the field, though.

I think that would discourage some people from giving an answer. Also, on questions where only two people answer then one of them will lose ten points simply because their answer was not quite as good as another perosns.

I recon the points scheme works fine just now.

OOOO! -10 points, thats bad and anyway, If you get a best answer + 10 points youre happy but if you lose 10 pts and get a worst answer thats not really sth that makes you happy, is it?

but i agree =D

Usually I wouldn't. But for those that give an answer that has nothing to do with the question, that would be great.

Sounds great in spirit but consider how often we've had to get a "taste of our own medicine" before we figured something out.

Lots of times advice or suggestions aren't welcome even when they ARE the truth.
